For many people, clothing can be a daily source of discomfort. Scratchy tags, rough seams, overheating, itching, and constant distractions that make it difficult to focus on anything else.
After my autism diagnosis, I realised just how much these small details affected me every day. I searched for clothing that prioritised comfort first, but struggled to find it.
So I created Autic.
Every detail has been carefully considered to reduce common sensory irritations and create clothing that feels comfortable from the moment you put it on until the moment you take it off.
Because comfort shouldn't be a luxury. It should be the standard.
Why Bamboo?
Not all fabrics feel the same.
We chose bamboo because it offers a naturally softer, smoother feel against the skin than many traditional fabrics.
